NSB or Naval Selection Board is situated in INS Agrani, Red Fields of Coimbatore. This Selection Board shortlists potential candidates for Indian Navy, a 5 day long testing procedure takes place at the board which judges the Officer Like Qualities (OLQ) of the a particular candidate.

History

Air– Coimbatore International Airport which is also an Air Force base is situated at Peelamedu which is 15 Kms away from the city. Airport has flights to major cities of India including Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkatta and Mumbai, there are some international flights to Singapore and Sharjah also.
